I finally got myself a job. i starting waitressing or became a ' service staff' a week ago. The job is tiring. Im on my feet from 9.30am till 6 pm running up n down taking orders n ya da ya da u get the picture right? just like in those computer games eg. diner dash

what amazes me is the way people treat waitresses...

• like maids
• uneducated
• do not deserve some respect
• stupid
• DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH a.k.a foreign workers

ok mayb i get it more than the other waitresses for the fact that i do not look like a chinese nor do i look like an indian so the next possibility i probably would be a malay or an indonesian. sheesh. There was even once i was washing the toilet...this guy (an indian who speaks decent english) came up to me and 'complimented' me..i quote " u cuci tandas sangat bersih" i was completely speechless... or ppl who would said "cukup ar?" when i present the bill to the customer or "ada susu ka?" refering to the milk they want for their coffee...despite the fact i will try to speak perfect english to them they would still reply me in Bahasa Malaysia. i wish i could wear a huge name tag instead of the ridiculous apron i wear saying ' hi, my name is ELIZABETH SONIA MONTEIRO. im a EURASIAN which they are prob too dumb know what it means. n i speak ENGLISH BETTER THAN YOU.

Then there would be those rich ladies who flaunt their LV and Coach handbags. They treat waitresses like DIRT crap! despite standing there for hours waiting for them to decide which salad has less calories, they are so rude because they have the riches of their husbands to throw away n u are just not worth their 2 cents. after going through the sarcastic remarks and the hard time they give you, you would expect some decent tips. think again. ZERO cents.How generous. not to mention, the food is only 1/4 eaten.

Then can also be people who would ask the STUPIdest questions in the world. i came across this question which left me dumbfounded. "what is pasta?" which century were u born??? how could anyone not know what PASTA is? there was even a jessica simpson moment when the customer repeatedly asked me "i know it is laksa but is it curry mee?" when i kept explainin to her that it was laksa with santan in it. OMG.

i wish i could jus list down evrything. i cant. there's just too many incidents.

i have a new found respect for waitresses. i salute all of you.

so pls...tip your waitress wisely. they have a lot a crap to put up with.lol

i woke up exceptionally early today to catch the finale of american idol so that no one can spoil it for me. i would say i wouldnt care who wins whether david cook or david archuletta would win. but deep inside i know i was leaning more towards david archuletta. i kept falling asleep during commercial breaks! so many bloody annoying times almost as if  a duration of evry 5mins!!

after yest show, i was so confident that david archuletta would win! hands down he was the better singer yesterday! gave me goosebumps!! i even forced bryan to help me vote for him! (bryan u lied! u didnt vote for me! haha) though i hate his facial expressions..well its always the same..the almost as if he is going to cry look...he seriously needs to work on his social skills..i mean he gives short answers for evry question asked..as if he is not interested...i dont noe why i find that annoying! BUT.... i LOVE his voice..isnt that what american idol is about?

but DAMN IT david cook walked away with the title.....

my mum definitely was very disappointed...i was screaming UNFAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!

but then i have to admit overall david cook deserved it...he is good no doubt...what he makes him better is his originality...

i definitely think this is the best season ever. i think if david archuletta or syesha were to sing in other seasons they would have won.

SEASON 7 rocks!!

p/s: did anyone notice david hernandez during the finale? OMG he is so hot!!!!!

Has anyone told you that too much of free time and overdose on love movies is bad for health?? well it is!

why is it bad for health? such movies often leaves u feeling that guys like landon from a walk to remember or gerry from ps i love you etc exists...therefore leads you to have almost impossible high expectations of the type of guy you would like. Almost evry movie i watched never failed to make me tear whether its happy or sad endings. makes me wonder if im crying for myself or the movie? see what i mean! romantic lovey dovey sappy movies are bad for health! it causes a person to be so bitter and depress! the only good thing about it, tears prevents microorganisms from settling on your eyes. well at least u will be less prone to eye infection. ha!

if crying is your thing...my recommendation:
